it wasn’t my mistakes I found holding me down, it was those of my mother, and you can have no idea how much those things bind you until you have been there; it’s terrifying. However, I refused to let her mistakes keep my life on hold and I did not allow my mistakes to hold me either, so maybe it’s more about the strength within a person, than the mistakes themselves?

wish i knew the answer to that. sometimes it might be easier to hold on to a mistake than to try something new.. or something like that…
