Does it mean we should work on the assignment at hand and forget the failure of the past?

I don’t think forgetting the failures is the right way to go (?), but I think we need to bury them (forgive them). Forgive the wars, the hatred and the misguided traditions of our own life or of the society we live in, not hold on to them just because they are tradition. Celebrate the passions, joys, hopes and strengths – both personal ones and those of our culture – and bring them into the future. 🙂
